"I've had the opportunity to create/help with visuals for interviews, live concerts, and trailers featuring Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Mi$tro, Kid Daytona, M3, Trinidad Jame$, Lupe Fiasco,, EarthGang, ForteBowie, Camp Lo, TrakGIRL, and more. I love to be involved in every part of the creative process from the conceptual, storyboarding and planning stage to the execution on the day of and everything in between. I strive for excellence and always work towards accomplishing my goals."
You shoot all kinds of imagery, with music/musicians being a prominent theme. How did you get into it? My husband and I (we were just friends at the time) got involved with the entertainment industry and we interviewed Kendrick Lamar after he released his Section 80 mixtape. Since then I've developed a passion to capture raw emotions from concerts/musicians and fans. Music brings everyone together, and I want to help be a part of that great movement by sharing it with the world.
I try to go to a show at least 3 times a month. I'll just buy a ticket and figure out how to get my photo pass later -- sometimes we are connected to the managers or producers of the shows, so it works out perfectly. I love the lack of control in the environment of the live shows, that's when I get the most organic reactions from people and performers. It's an energy I absolutely love.
